About Transfigured Florals
At its heart, here’s what Transfigured Florals is all about: colours and textures worthy of drooling over, wedding flowers that transform a venue, a love for nature and for flowers whether they’re found in the depths of the woods or in a country garden, and an approach inspired by stories and art and the things that make us feel most alive. It’s a ramshackle manor covered in thorny, rambling roses that feels like something out of a storybook, with a hedge maze to get lost in and a library filled to the brim with books. Artful, lush and whimsical, and tailored entirely to your love story
My kind of Couple…
You’re an imaginative person excited by the what if’s, who is thrilled by the prospect of creating a day that reflects you and your partner, eccentricities, nerdy interests and all; you care about the vibe and the aesthetic, but not at the expense of creating a magical atmosphere for your guests and a wedding filled with touches that the guests will be talking about months later; and you most definitely love flowers, valuing their presence as a part of your wedding decor.
Transfigured Florals isn’t for people who want boring, uninspired wedding flowers that feel like an afterthought, so leave convention at the door and invest in a little magic instead!
Meet your Wedding Florist
Hello! My name is Jodie and I am the brains behind Transfigured Florals. Here are a few facts about me…
My favourite flowers are ranunculus (especially butterfly ranunculus!) hellebores, fritillaries, sweetpeas and garden roses.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Marketing and have always been a creative at heart, which has helped me cultivate an eye for colour, texture and design.
I am both Level 2 and Level 3 qualified, but have also done everything from retail floristry in a busy flower shop to helping out on a market stall, which means I have both the knowledge and expertise to help you create your dream wedding florals.
As well as being a flower lover I am a fan of movies, fantasy novels, nature, musicals and photography!
The Transfigured Florals Style…
My style as a florist is whimsical and romantic, and I adore making use of unexpected combinations of colour and texture. I try to make use of sustainable floristry methods and locally grown flowers where possible, and love to create arrangements with a loose, wild feel that makes them feel as if they’ve been picked straight from a garden.
